Very cold winter temperatures are not stopping area construction projects. Along with updates on ongoing projects, watch for daytime road closures on South Street in downtown Fishers, along with some other localized work.

Watch out for a lane restriction on NB SR 37 near 141st St., traffic will be down to one lane so that the contractor can conduct emergency patching operations.
STATE ROAD 37 AND 141ST STREET

I-465 & I-69
Drivers will see an increase in construction along the I-69 corridor in the coming months. This work will focus on reconfiguring the interchange at I-465 and I-69. New ramps will provide direct movements from eastbound I-465 and northbound I-465 to northbound I-69. Binford Blvd. will also be reconstructed to separate local traffic from traffic entering and exiting I-69 and I-465. Access to I-69 from Binford Blvd. will remain open.

- Ramp from 56th Street to I-465
- Ramp from Allisonville Road to I-465 eastbound
- Ramp from northbound Binford Boulevard to I-465 westbound
82nd Street Ramps
- Ramp from I-69 South to 82nd Street is now open
- Ramp from 82nd Street to I-69 South is open only to I-465 South

PROJECTS NORTH OF 116TH STREET
Please use extreme caution and follow the 35mph posted speed limit when traveling through the work zone. Left turns are prohibited in all directions at the intersection. Please see the included intersection diagram (below) for the movements that are allowed. Periodic lane closures and intermittent stoppages may be necessary to complete certain work items. Please watch for flaggers and workers in and around the construction zone. View a phase map here.
UTILITY WORK ON SOUTH STREET
Watch out for intermittent lane restrictions on South Street and Lantern Road these will be in place from 9am to 3pm. The contractor will be conducting utilility work in the area for the District South/CityView Developments.
BRIGHTSPEED FIBER INSTALLATION
Brightspeed will be installing fiber throughout the following neighborhoods: Bridger Pines, Bridger Pines West and Arbor Pines. Work will be conducted in the utility easement behind the sidewalk.
96TH STREET AND THE NICKEL PLATE TRAIL – UTLITY WORK
Towards the end of the week of February 17 there will be intermittent lane restrictions on 96th street and the Nickel Plate Trail to allow for Utility Work. These restrictions will impact WB 96th street from Hague Rd to Menards entrance towards the end of the week and EB 96th street from Hague Rd to Menards entrance On Monday 17 or Tuesday 18.
Please be on the lookout for intermittent lane restrictions in place at this roundabout. These restrictions could be in all directions, proceed with caution. This work is all weather permitting.
