Hamilton Southeastern gave a tough battle to North Central Friday, before
falling to the Panthers 43-38 in the Royals’ second game of the North Central Classic.

Class 4A No. 6 Southeastern led the 4A No. 1 Panthers 24-23 at halftime and 31-29
after three quarters. But North Central outscored the Royals 14-7 in the fourth
period to get the victory.

Amaya Hamilton scored 14 points to lead the HSE scoring, and also pulled nine
rebounds and blocked two shots. Molly Walton and Tayah Irvin both collected six
rebounds.

Southeastern is now 13-4 for the season and hosts Warren Central on Thursday.
